The Secret of Being Healthy

Its been a few months I've indulged myself into the world of foodmatters.tv. I've found this ancient secret which had been buried hundreds of years. I finally learnt that the magic comes from the food we choose to eat. Yes, that's about all.
When we change our food from food alike to the real food we'll be healthy.All the diseases could even be reversed! Too good to be true right? The only reason why people are getting chronic illness are:

1. Lack of nutrient.

  • Most people only take macronutrient ie carbohydrate, protein and fat. There's not much vitamin and mineral (micronutrient) in their diet. 
  • Our cell need enough nutrient to proceed with its routine activities. When there's deficient of certain factors then the metabolism will no longer be normal. Abnormal process will lead to diseases. I hope you could understand this simple principal. We doctors used to learn a lot about drugs. Most drugs behave by blocking certain pathways in order to avoid toxic substances being produced.However because of the blocking effect, other cell metabolism will eventually be affected, causing side effects.Therefore one should think of replenishing what is absent instead of blocking the pathological pathways. That's why food is more important than drug.Therefore the idea of taking superfood will accelerate the growth of cancer is not true at all. When your immune system is functioning optimally the cancer will be gone. Make sense?
  • Lack of nutrient is the only cause of illness especially when the other factors explained below are also involved. In order to be healthy you need to take more than 51% of fruit and vegetables in your diet. Try to get them from all the rainbow colours.

2. Exposure to teratogenic agent

  • Day in and day out we've been exposed to radiation and toxic chemicals. There are more than 2,000 active chemicals which can cause cancer and other chronic illnesses in our pipe water.
  • Our environment today is grossly polluted. The only way to ensure that you're drinking uncontaminated water is drinking reverse osmosis water. Avoid drinking water filtered through alkaline filter because toxic chemicals are not filtered at all. Furthermore as time goes by the chemical keep accumulate to a toxic level and in a few months you may notice your colleague or family members become sicker than before.
  • You need to put a little effort to grow your own vegetables and fruits using organic fertilizer and avoiding pesticide, herbicide and fungicide. After all organic fruits and vegetables are rich in micronutients.
  • You should also avoid taking highly process food, preservatives, artificial colouring and sweeteners as far as possible. Home cooking is the best.

3. Lack of detoxification process

  • Human body is made perfect. It eliminates toxic waste from our body through urine and feces.Therefore keeping your gut healthy and drinking healthy water are important. Fermented vegetables like kimchi is good. Taking yogurt is also good.

4.  Lack of oxygen

  • Oxygen is important to fight infection. Oxygen is also important to keep our blood cells from clumping, ensuring smooth circulatory flow. Pathogen and cancer cells hate oxygen.
  • Exercise helps in boosting oxygen to enter our body. You can also take supplemental oxygen.

5. Too much stress

  • Try to live a balanced life. 
  • Expect less, contribute more. You'll be happy
